JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - After a long week of empty shelves, Billâs Cost-Plus Supermarket in Jonesboro expects to be fully stocked by the end of the week.
Store manager Felix Gallion says that bread, milk, eggs, and meat were the items they had a hard time keeping on their shelves.
âIt was hard keeping it replenished,â he said.
Trucks that were coming from Southaven, Miss. were delayed because of the treacherous road conditions last week, so Billâs did everything they could to accommodate their customers.

Yuma, Arizona - The City invites residents and visitors to view this year’s BBQ and Brew Festival, a virtual event, which premiers 4 p.m. Friday, February 26 on the City’s social media platforms and on City 73 TV.
With health and safety restrictions on large gatherings still in place, the festival will go video-only this year to whet the appetite for tasty barbecue. The virtual festival will feature local barbecue and restaurant chefs and interviews with local brewers. The event will also peek inside a local backyard barbecue.
A head-to-head cooking challenge on tri-tip beef pits Mayor Douglas Nicholls and Yuma County Supervisor Jonathan Lines against local restaurant Holy Smokes. Judging the cook-off are former Yuma County Supervisor Russell McCloud, Jennifer Blackwell of Z93 radio, and Keith Boyd of Klein’s Electric.
TEXARKANA, Texas - Residents in more than 100 Texas counties can begin applying for federal assistance to help them recover from last weekâs massive winter storm, including Bowie County.
City and county leaders met Tuesday afternoon to discuss the recent winter storm and it s impact on the area.
There are three options for apply for individual disaster assistance: Online, through the FEMA app or by phone.
On Feb. 13, Gov. Greg Abbott requested individual assistance for all 254 Texas counties.
So far, the federal government has approved 108 counties for individual disaster aid, including Bowie County.
Texans are also urged to fill out a damage survey online to help the state identify damage from the winter storm.
